Privacy Policy

1. Data Storage

By default, all information you provide — including your measurements, settings, and calculation results — is stored exclusively on your device. You have full control over this data.

If you choose to enable Cloud Sync by signing in with Apple or Google, your data is also stored on our cloud servers (hosted by Supabase) to enable syncing across devices. Cloud sync is entirely optional.

2. Information We Collect

We collect and process the following information:

• User-Provided Data: Gender, height, weight, and photos you provide for body fat analysis.
• Calculation Results: Body fat percentage, BMI, and related metrics generated from your data.
• Body Visualization Images: AI-generated visualization images created from your photos.
• Account Information (if signed in): Your Apple or Google account identifier (user ID). We do not access or store your email address, name, or other profile information unless provided by you.
• Settings & Preferences: Metric system, target body fat, target weight, reminder frequency.

3. Cloud Sync

When you sign in with Apple or Google and enable Cloud Sync:

• Your measurements, results, settings, and photos are uploaded to our cloud servers.
• Data is stored securely using Supabase (hosted on AWS) with row-level security — you can only access your own data.
• Photos and visualization images are stored in encrypted cloud storage.
• You can disable cloud sync at any time in Settings.

4. Third-Party Data Processing

The core feature of our application — body fat estimation from photos — uses third-party AI services.

When you upload a photo for analysis, it is sent securely over an encrypted HTTPS connection to our AI processing partner (OpenAI). The photo is used solely for generating the body fat estimate. We do not send other personally identifiable information with the photo.

Body visualization features use Google Gemini AI to generate images showing how you might look at different body fat percentages.

Authentication: Sign In with Apple is provided by Apple Inc. Sign In with Google is provided by Google LLC. We only receive a unique user identifier from these services.

5. Account Deletion

You can delete your account and all associated data at any time from the Settings page in the app. When you delete your account:

• All cloud-stored data (results, photos, settings, visualizations) is permanently deleted.
• Your authentication account is permanently deleted.
• All locally stored data is cleared from your device.
• This action cannot be undone.

You can also clear local data only (without deleting your cloud account) from the Settings page.

6. Data Security

We take reasonable measures to protect your information. All communication with our servers and third-party services is encrypted using industry-standard HTTPS/TLS. Cloud data is protected by row-level security policies ensuring users can only access their own data.

7. Data Retention

Local data is retained on your device until you delete it or uninstall the app. Cloud data is retained until you delete your account or disable cloud sync. We do not retain data after account deletion.

8. Children's Privacy

The App is not intended for use by children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

9. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new Privacy Policy on this page and updating the "Last Updated" date.
